Adidas Etrusco Unico (Italy 1990)

Origin of the name: The name comes from an ancient civilization that lived in central Italy with the name "Etruscos".

Design: It is inspired by the art and culture of the Etruscans, distinguished by a mythological lion.

Innovation: It was the first ball to incorporate an inner layer of black polyurethane foam to further improve waterproofing.

Legacy: A symbol was included to ensure that the ball could be used on any terrain and weather.

Fun fact: This ball appears in a few clips from the Mexican children's soap opera "Carrousel" when a rich father gives to his son the same soccer ball used by the professionals, but this kid knows nothing about this sport, doesn't even know how to play it, and decides to show it to his friends.

It was also the official match ball for the FIFA Women's World Cup China 1991.
